Nate Robinson and Delonte West Look really good now!
Delonte Should be in Celtic Green this year! I don't know why we went after Dooling.
Also Watching Nate knife through defenses this year is killing me. I know he was a bone head on the court at times but the offensive spark would be great to still have off the bench. These two combined could have added at least 15pts a game much needed offense to this team. Instead we have a back up pg that can only play defense. And fires bricks! I pray doc give more time to Moore!
Be respectful and keep it clean. Thanks.

We went after Dooling after Delonte chose the Mavs
The Celtics, the Lakers and the Mavs all offered Delonte the same deal. He chose to move on.

Nate is on a fast paced, offensive first team
That’s where a chucker thrives.
I would take a chucker at this point
We could use some Points on this team.
fact
There are not that many “bad” PGs and SGs in the NBA. If you give most players the knowledge that they are going to play at least 20-30 minutes a night, they will respond with numbers that are positive (point toals). Delonte never looked bad- when he plays (healthy) he is good. Nate can get up 10-15 shots to make double digit scoring and all we see is he is averaging 12 points a game. When put into a role with the Celtics he would have dimiished shots, minutes and points. I bet if you let JJJ play 25 minutes in most games. he could score in double digits at least half the time. Would other parts of his game be positive? who knows. Point being, its tough to compare how a move pans out because of variations in style of play, specific roles, and consistency of minutes.
ugh

that is so not fact. While it is true that every player in the nba is capable of having a big game, its also true the more a player plays the more a good staff can find weaknesses to exploit. What seperates the great from the average is usually the fact that the great can consistently be great while the average need certain circumstances to look great, which cant always be duplicated.
If you wanted to consider real fact, it might that a player is more likely to thrive in an ideal situation, not just minute wise, but also playing style, coaching style, lineups, and the styles of all those players come into play.
Example: Nate robinson is a very undersized guard who plays pg more because of his size as opposed to his very obvious sg-esque playing style. His biggest advantage is his ability to drive the lane and hit 3pt shots, thus he is best suited in a faster paced offense where he would constantly be leading a break, either he succeeds the break and gets to the rim or makes and easier pass to a player who is wide open, or he is able to catch defenders sleeping and pull up for a jumper that only his team mates would expect. Golden state has a roster filled with guys with the same mentality, and thus have a playing style and coaching style that utilizes this as a strength. Hence, nate fits with golden state.
The celtics have a slow it down half court style which emphasizes execution and defene above all things. Kg has always been known for his defense, and his ability to defeat opponents in the half court, ray allen is one of the best offense executors at the sg position with his unique ability to shoot the ball and run routes, rondo is a pg whos physical uniqueness and mentality make him a good defender, and because of the obvious lack of his own offensive abilities he adapted the ability execute plays instead. Paul pierce is the glue that holds your system in place, which also is to say more than rondo, as p.p. goes so do the celtics. He doesnt supply execution on offense or is a shut down defender. He is however a willing (which usually is all it takes to be good) defender and a unique scorer. the first keeps him from being a liability, the second allows a ‘plan b’ to all of the celtics executions, when broken plays happen its paul pierce who can turn something out of nothing (not to say he cant be part of ran plays, but hes also the only who can play without them)
I dont care what the D.N.A. Says, the Guy wearing number 12 Cannot be Kirk Hinrich, he is definetly Kurt. Kirk can actually play basketball!
back up guards
I think delonte is a great point guard and i wish he was on this team…good scorer off the bench, tough defender, doesn’t make alot of bad decisions (on the court), if he would have appreciated the veterans min he would still be a celtic, didn’t care too much for nate because he is immature and not disciplined enough. i actually like dooling he has a decent shot and he always goes after the ball defensively, i like him better as a 2 guard though
