Josh Smith-Danilo Gallinari
Ive been watching the celtics play since the KG era. I loved the way they played, teamwork and trhe use of ubuntu. I became a fan of the only pass first team i had since in years. Since the Kg era this team should have win 3 championships if it wasnt for injuries. Even last year year they coud have gone furhter if it wasnt for shaq and rondos injuries.
But watching this season has been painful. This is not even close to the team that i loved just last year. This team isnt fun to watch. I wasnt going to sink the ship just yet, but im forced to think that this team cant even make the playoffs. Sorry for the pessimism but the season is short and our celtics arent showing any signs of improvement.
So I think its time to rebuild now, not in summer. I think two players that would help boston now are danillo gallinari and josh smith. Smith can probably entice howard and gallinbari is a young scorer.
Heres the trade i came up with: http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=7nuf7mc
Boston gets: Smith, Gallinari
Atlanta gets: Garnett, Mozgov
Denver get: Marvin Williams, Jajuan Johnson, Etwan Moore
I dont know if atlatnta or denver do this but i think if we can pull this off it would be great.
So let me now what u think please, keep it respectful
Be respectful and keep it clean. Thanks.

No. Neither ATL or DEN would ever make this trade.
Why would two playoff teams (ATL and DEN) downgrade their rosters? To help the Celts?
ATL has Smith signed through next year. Why would they take a worn down Garnett as a half-season rental?
DEN is 2nd in the Western Conference and Danilo is playing wonderfully. Why trade him for two rookies and an overrated sixth man?
Fans have to get it through their heads that NO TEAM is going out of its way to HELP THE CELTS. If a playoff team believes Allen or KG or Pierce can push them into true contention, then they’ll make a trade, but they won’t give up their stars in a trade-off.
we really should trade
kg for dwight
ray allen and oneal for lebron
paul pierce for durant
rondo and bass for rose
and dooling for mayo

I live in Denver and there is no way we will move Gallo. The nuggets are about to sign he long term. The nuggets do have Wilson Chandler available and a deep bench of really good players. Nuggets will not move Nene, Ty or Gallo.

What about Al Harrington?
He is a headcase, but I love what I have seen from him this season.

Crazy trade
Would be great but won’t ever happen
pierce & Rondo might get us Gallinari (maybe Chandler) & lawson, but teams are only trrading for Pierce if they can win it this year or next.
Salaries also have to match
