I think the best move Ainge makes this year is no move. This offseason resign Ray for 2 years at a hometown discount. KG goes off into the sunset and Pierce stays for the rest of his career. Draft a finisher at the rim and someone who can rebound. This lets Rondo get more fast break opportunites and someone to run with. Sign veterans that bring toughness and defense to short contracts. Many will say this is not bold enough. I say the moves of 2007 may never be duplicated. You have to evaluate every situation differently. I am convinced PP and Ray still have game. Others may say Rondo can't do it alone. I agree. Give him some running mates next year and sign a FA with some athleticism and I am convinced he can be unstoppable.
