Flannery: 5 Restricted Free Agents To Consider
Paul Flannery takes a look at 5 guys that will become restricted free agents at the end of the year (because they didn't get extensions yesterday like Kevin Love and others did). See the link for the full list, but one of them is going to be playing against us tonight, so you'll have a chance to scout him (don't just judge him based on the last game he played against us).
Green Street " Five restricted free agents for Celtics to consider
Ryan Anderson: The 6-foot-10 sharpshooter had a miserable game against the Celtics on Monday missing all eight shots, but he’s very quietly having a breakthrough season as a starter, averaging almost 17 points and seven rebounds per game. He’s shooting 42 percent from 3-point range and is a better rebounder than people realize. For the right price he’d be terrific pick and pop partner for Rajon Rondo. It’s also worth noting that the Magic’s roster is a mess with long-term commitments to role players like Glen Davis and Jason Richardson.
To me he seems like a nice finishing piece but not necessarily someone I'd want to throw big money at when we don't already have the other pieces in place. But he's worth considering.

I agree Jeff
It really depends on where you want your star power to come from. And since the pf position is quite loaded, Ryan Anderson looks to me more like a role player or maybe a sixth man with great upside. I would rather look at players like Bargnani or Millsap, who can actually carry your team on offense in long stretches. Either of them paired with someone like Asik would be pretty good on defense, too.

I would
like Roy Hibbert if D12 did not go here. I am also entertaining the idea of the Lopez twins playing here. You got real Twin Towers.
HIbbert
I like Roy HIbbert a lot and think he has plenty of room to row into a better player then he is now. Indian likes him too and will likely match any reasonable offer. That’s why I think maintaining cap space above all else is over rated.
Hibbert and Batum
These 2 would be great additions to the C’s. Throw in a returning Bass and you have some solid guys there to round out the starting 5 and anchor the second unit.
FA's
Anderson would be a great addition, definitely underrated
Hibbert has really improved, this years Mark Gasol
