I'm watching the Orlando , Celtics game.. this team is a complete joke.. Doc sucks and is an ineffective coach.. they need to dump all these garbage players and try and trade one if not all of the big three...
I'm sorry but Avery Bradley is absolutely awful.. so what if he plays good defense if he's a complete and utter liability on offense.. he constantly turns the ball over and is indecisive..plus I've only seen him play good defense against mediocore players.. let's see him play good defense against the likes of chris paul, derrick rose, etc..
The only bright spots on this team right now are Pietrus and Stiesma (as bench players of course).. Marquis Daniels , i don't get why everyone likes this guy, he looks like he's asleep half the time, all his shots are bricks , he can't finish at the rim and is constantly exposed on defense.. and yes i realize he has tough defense assignments, but give me deshawn stevenson over him any day...
Also has anybody thought about if Dwight and Rondo are on the same time, you have TWO liabilities at the free throw line? maybe the best scenario would be to try and get Dwill and Dwight somehow and trade away rondo.....
Sorry for the vent, but I'm just disgusted with how bad this team is.... and if some moves arent made soon, we'll be waiting another 20+ years for a championship run..

im not just looking at this game..
im looking at the whole season.. all the wins the celtics have are garbage wins… orlando is not a contender.. they also suck..
and by the way the celtics dont get any easy baskets they never go inside because you have scared players like KG and ray allen who never drives and can’t create his own shot… they need some inside presence and some guys who are nasty and will mix it up.. even brandon bass seems to favor this outside jumper and doesnt go inside as much.. lets go after josh smith , paul milsap, al jefferson…. we need some inside presence..

Hey, I agree with the Fire Ainge part wholeheartedly
But the Rivers bit is just bonkers. Please keep in mind that players give the Celtics a look in free agency sometimes if only because Doc Rivers is the head coach of our basketball team! I’m not saying we don’t have a lot to offer, but Shaq for instance said Doc was THE reason he decided to come to Boston. Many other players have echoed that sentiment.

But Perkins and Rondo are both young players that Doc developed. Davis as well, who brought Bass in the trade with Orlando. Powe who helped Boston win a title game, who has been able to find consistent work as a bench 4 ever since. Are all young players Doc developed.
Bill Walker wasn’t sitting on the bench because Doc doesn’t play rookies, Walker was sitting ont the bench because he wasn’t very good. There is a difference between a coach that won’t play rookies and a coach who only plays the rookies that can play.

What happened though??? The Celtics won. I respect you watching basketball for 30 years but ive been watch for 5 and i never once thought about firing anyone. Have some faith.

Once a celtic, always a celtic, as they say. If we go all out, we are seriously a (borderline) contender. We are only a couple of moves away to making a lot of noise in the playoffs ( get a decent center, etc). Who knows? Maybe there will be minimal injuries, the big 3 will be rested in time for the playoffs, and we win it all? You never know.
Who can we replace Ainge and Rivers for? I Know! Let’s hire Flip Saunders! He’ll help this team more than Doc!

Ainge is amazing. Doc is ok with me, he’s not one of the best but the players like him and he motivates them.
I like Avery, he can score and has shown he can. He should only play the 2 but we need him right now to play point.
I feel offended by this post because it isn’t just a uniform for me. I love Rondo, he is in my top 5 of all time. I would be completely heartbroken if he left for anyone.
I don’t want goofy ass quitters like Dwight Howard. He is one of the top 2 or 3 players in the league but who cares his personality sucks and he doesn’t win. Same feelings about LeBron. They both seem like assholes to me. Rondo has character. I like EVERY guy on the team who can say that? I don’t want Kenyon Martins or JR smiths on this team those guys are pot head idiots, our guys have class.
Have some faith.

Hey he may talk trash and what??? I havent seen him elbow someone in a throat for awhile or punch someone on a foul. Believe it or not, KG is one the Celtics leader if not PP. He is a very respectable guy and hes not the only one in the NBA who shows their chippiness on the court.
