No Rondo, good?
The past 2 games Rondo hasnt played, and I beleive we are playing better.
Without the Rondo-ego in the game, other Celtic players have shown up and stepped up! I really think Rondo is holding us back. Sure he is better than any other PG we have, and he is very good and does a lot of awesome things. But from a team perspective, he has got to go! Trade him for an equally good but better fit PG. Not sure who I might add!
Whats everyone else think?
Be respectful and keep it clean. Thanks.

I disagree entirely...
Rondo needs to stay. He’s the cornerstone of the team right now as we need to build around him. He’s an all-star quality pg who is arguably one of the top 5 in the league right now. I get what you’re saying but the fact that AB and Moore have stepped up shows that they are great bench players who can be counted on for big team performances. Every team needs those guys but we also need our star and thats where Rondo comes in.
When we were losing Rondo was the only person playing with energy...
Celtics have lately gotten in better shape and are running the break better. They are also playing with a lot more energy and precision on the defensive end.
Combine this with Rondo and you will have great results ala 2010 NBA Finals.
replace the Celtics with any other team in the NBA
and what you’d be saying right now is, “WOW, wtf is wrong with the Magic???”
It bears asking. It’s the same thing that happened to the Nuggets last year. I think we’ll see more of it. The Celtics deserve some credit for knowing how to contain Dwight Howard and generally having the Magic’s number, but no team ever had a week like this without a big dose of self-destruction.
If we beat everyone like this for a month, then we can talk about whether we’re better without Rondo. Let’s see what we look like against Chicago and Miami, and other teams with super-athletic scorers at guard. Against those teams, Rondo has historically been our most potent weapon.
