PrintWhat a way to lose the positive energy. Losing by being on the short end of a 12-0 run by an awful team. I was walking around doing things around my place because I just KNEW it was in the bag, then I heard the crowd chanting defense and I knew they had closed in on us. Not something I've been used to in these last couple years. Real disappointing.
A 19 year old beat us tonight.
More proof we need a real center protecting the paint or we are a 1st or 2nd round knockout.
Certainly we a re agutsy team that can play with anyone on a nightly basis but in a 7 game series we need a tough 7 footer. Not a former PF who gets injured every other game.
Here's hoping Kaman gets bought out. I think we could really make some noise with him in the paint.

And the NBA isn’t going to let Kaman get bought out. They are going to field multiple offers and the best deal will be whoever offers up the greatest pick/prospect and agrees to pay the most of his salary to meet N.O.‘s financial needs=won’t be us. We don’t have cap flexibility and Ainge has no interest in trading prospects.
I can still see a Keyon, Wilcox, JO, Bradley, + second round pick for him.
We would then need to scramble to sign 3 new players but I think it is worth it. We keep our core and fill a big hole in our starting 5.
I still feel like they won’t get any offers they want. It’s just too much salary for NO.
