Greg M. Cooper-US PRESSWIRE - Presswire
Turnovers plague the Celtics in the second quarter as they fall into a 10-point deficit.
- Jason Terry at the point to start the second quarter. He's an adequate ball handler, but the difference between him and Rondo is noticeable.
- Jared Sullinger continues to show the knack for getting offensive rebounds that was on display during summer league play. In almost 12 minutes of play, he grabbed 5 boards, 3 off the offensive glass.
- Darko is huge. That's all. He's HUGE. He's going to have to improve his footwork closing out on pick-and-rolls, but he's a load in the paint. Two blocked shotsand four rebounds. He's only wearing #99 because #100 isn't allowed.
- Fab Melo checked in with under two minutes to go. The sense I get is that instinctively, he'd rather go for a block than play positional defense. If he is a candidate for Maine, his footwork is an area for improvement. He even jumped the gun on a Paul Pierce free throw.
