Kris Joseph impresses in first Red Claws game

Greg M. Cooper-US PRESSWIRE

Kris Joseph was ranked the 2nd best performance in the Eastern Division by the D-League blog.

Nice to see Kris Joseph impressing folks in his first action in the D-League. He was ranked the 2nd best performance in the Eastern Division by the D-League blog.

NBA Development League: NBA D-League Blog 2012-13

Fresh off his assignment from the Boston Celtics, Kris Joseph had an impressive night for the Red Claws with a game high of 28 points that complimented his eight rebounds, 2 blocks and 2 steals nicely. The same could not be said about the Celtics' other assignment Fab Melo, who fizzled with 2 points and 4 blocks in his NBA D-League debut.

Not sure I'd label 4 blocked shots a fizzle, especially when we know Fab isn't so fab at offense. But whatever.

See highlights here, and catch the whole game online here.
