Just one game, but I think the end of last season, the playoffs, and this pre-season, indicates that another two Celtics alumni will shine.

First let me say, I love Brandon Bass, love Jared Sullinger, but watching the Celtics get torched with the pick and roll, brings to mind the appreciation that Big Baby was more than an adequate, team and on-the-ball, defender. I think Bass and Sully, or Chris Wilcox will figure it out; but I remember last year when Doc stated that Kevin Garnett and Ryan Hollins - who we let go for, take your pick, Jason Collins or Darko Milicic - is the best defensive unit we have, that speaks volumes.

I also love Courtney Lee's, effort, skills, and athleticism, but did we give up too much for him; looking at the maturation of the non-athletic, but crafty Etwan Moore - I wonder. Moore had a nice summer league, a great pre-season, and it looks as if he is definitely Jameer Nelson's back-up and a key member of Magic's rotation. Might we have had Moore and Barbosa ((who actually might turn out to be a steal in our system). If we wanted more size might we have saved a couple of dollars to extend Micheal Pietrus whom Doc stated over and over knew our defensive system and did play good, on-the-ball defense.

I think in the long-run Lee is going to be just fine, but the "Big Baby - Gimme Moore" show is going to be interesting, and I am not one of those who think the Orlando Magic is going to be swept away with the losing of Dwight Howard like the Cleveland Cavaliers when Lebron James left.
