I have been surprised that Brandon Bass has not been good with his defensive rotations. In particular, his recovery on the pick and roll has been poor. He misses the fact that his man has been picked up by the other big and doesn't recover.

I like Bass but I was disappointed that Heinsohn didn't pick up on his poor rotations.

Sullinger is not gifted athletically but he was much better at rotation in the pick and roll.

If you review the Celtics losing the lead in the 4th quarter you will see that Bass was a big part of the break down on defense.

Bass also still holds on to the ball on offense too long. When he does make the easy pass he does it too late.

Still his is a good rebounder and excellent outside shooter.
