There is a lot wrong with the C's right now from coaching to playing & personell !!! Let me start with the personnel. The C's simply don't have the players to consistently compete with the better teams in the league and there are alot of competing teams this year for a playoff spot and the coveted crown. The C's are a small medium to slow speed team and let's not forget their age is a baggage problem at this time. Pierce is Boston's primary offensive player, he's much slower than the days of his prime, he's not nearly as constistent offensively or defensively, with that said he's too relied upon to be their first or second offensive option !! And the opposing teams know this. Garnett is hitting that perimeter shot at a very good percentage but he just can't seem to play in the paint like he used to in his prime days, as a result he's not getting anyone in foul trouble and of course he's not going to the foul line enough and hardly any offensive rebounds. Rondo stil hasn't taken the responsibility to be their primary offensive option, because naturally he's a point guard who is a pass first player as he shoulld be as a point guard. Jeff Green is not panning out to be the player management was hoping he would be and the more I see him play he's convincing me he's not going to a lead player in this league, he doesn't have the eye of the tiger within him, however he could be a decent supporting player but still needs a lot more intensity offensively. Now we have the rest of the team, Avery Bradley, Jason Terry, Courtney Lee, Jared Sullinger, Barbosa, ect ect. Let's be serious this team cannot compete for a championship. There are no current major stars on this team besides Rajon Rondo and the team isn't balanced enough to consistently compete with 8 teams that are expected to compete for the ring . Boston needs strength and energy at various positions from rebounding to scoring and they need budding stars. Not playing Darko Milic puzzled me not giving Barbosa more playing time is puzzling me. Barbosa is one player that can with the best of them and he has lots of energy, he plays erractic at times but it's Doc's job to manage that, still Barbosa has what most of the C's lack speed and energy.
