There has been a lot of talk the past week or so about trades. Nearly everyone seems to agree that we need a big, but which one. Everyone seems to have a favorite, so I thought it would be good to see how they stack up.
Assuming we all want someone as good or better than what we currently have, I started with KG and Wilcox as a baseline. The others are recent blog suggestions, rumored to be available, or on a team that always is ready to deal.
All the situational stats are defense. The rebounds and blocks are ratios by floor time. Pay is this season only rounded. +/- is the simple math between offensive points per play and defensive points per play. All numbers are as of midday Friday the 21st and don't include that night's game for those who played. (def & off ppp - Synergy Sports, Reb. & blocks - Hoop Data, PER - ESPN/Hollinger, pay and age - Yahoo Sports).
Sometimes our eyes deceive us. You can argue the numbers are skewed due to the team one plays on. Some will make a case for intangibles or a case against for attitude. These are things for each to decide. Regardless, here are the numbers. Enjoy!
