Three Hall of famers off the bench?!

In December:
Opponents are averaging 23.4 ppg in the 4th qtr

The Celtics are averaging 19.9 ppg in the 4th qtr

Rivers has responded in the last three games by slowly increasing Green's and Sully's minutes.

He has reduced Paul and KG's minutes.

This is the first step to KG and Pierce off the bench. Why not? Better rested they will be more effective.

Rondo is hurt and it is not good.

Sully has played his butt off.

Green should be better with bigger minutes.

AB is on the way.

Potential starting lineup:

Rondo

AB

Sully

Collins

Green

No titles here, but, the beginnings of a younger, more athletic team that needs a big (badly)....while being backed up by...

KG-Pierce-Jet-Bass off the bench. Three hall of famers off the bench. How can this be worse than the last ten games?
