Just Get Him

Get Howard and worries are over...The C's have it with him. He is a rebounding fool and would give added rest to KG. The rebounds alone would add extra chances and also take time away from the teams the C's are playing. I would love to hear a downside if anyone cares to respond. I would love to see them have a shot with KG,Rondo,Pierce and Allen the next 2 years and rebuild after. Give up some picks and just do it !!!

Be respectful and keep it clean. Thanks.

ya but...

what if he doesn’t want to come here?

He supposedly has 4 teams on his list and we are not one of them.

So if he opts out after just a few months, we have nothing to show for it but a bunch of cap space (because in order to get Howard we probably have to cough up our best player, Rondo)

Do you really want to send Rondo, Allen, the Clippers first and the 2014 Nets 2nd to the Magic for just a few months worth of Howard?? Because I’m guessing that’s the type of package it would take.

To me, it would be worth it if we won a championship. The risk might be worth taking if you think Bradley or Moore could step up. But it would be a lot of peace of mind to know that Howard actually wants to BE A CELTIC.

heres why i dont think he will be traded in season

his contract cant be extended midseason now so any team would have to hope he will sign at the end of the season. if youre only getting him for a rental then you arent going to give up enough to get orlando to trade him.

also if we wanted him we would have to give up rondo JJ bradley moore and like 5 picks

see if we give up

Rondo Moore and Bradley and maybe 2 or 3 picks….. who’s going to play PG?

We would have to hope that Howard endures a few months of mediocrity In Boston, doesn’t opt out, and then we have to sign Nash or Deron.
