If Jeremy Lin is the real deal, can we get Him?
I believe Lins contract is guaranteed for the rest of the season. What happens then? If he proves that valuable, he's gonna command some serious bucks to keep him on the knicks. With Amare and Carmelo on the roster, they don't have the cap space to offer him sh*^! The celtics on the other hand will have cap space galore after the season. God Bless Rondo, but if lin can give us almost 20 points a game and 7-8 dimes a game, I'd send rondo packin in a heartbeat. I WANT this guy! If he continues this torrid streak of playing, he needs to be on the celtics radar this summer!
Be respectful and keep it clean. Thanks.

Pretty close to impossible
Not only for basketball reasons, but marketing as well. They would have to be out of their minds in NY to give up this worldwide phenomenon for anything.
We’ll have a ton of cash to offer to someone like Lin! If he can prove he’s more than a one hit wonder, others will flock to him for a chance to play. If he’s for real, he’s a game changer…..no question! Look what he’s done for the knicks WITHOUT Amare or Carmelo. It’s cool to have a player like lin to get exited about! I WANT THIS GUY!
seriously
you jumped on bandwagon after 4 games. seriously?
I don't follow rules, I let the rules follow me.
is this a joke?
Why? Any decent PG in the league would be god in that starting line up without Amare or Carmelo. They have no one so obviously one guy is going to look good if he takes over 20 shots a game.
still would keep # 9
really are u serious you want lin over rondo lets see rondo against lin the next time they play and you will be very shocked whats going to happen
lohaus #54
Agreed, Rubio played tough d on him tonight and he had another 6 turnovers but a decent game overall
but Rondo is quick and Boston plays good D, might be/most probably will be tough sledding for Lin.

That Minn game was the 2nd of a back-to-back
…AND they had to travel half-the-country to get there, meaning they got virtually NO sleep… a classic killer game. And Lin’s been playing huge minutes, and was hammered in the Lakers game the night before in NY (because that’s the way LA decided to try to stop him)… in which he performed brilliantly, btw. A LOT better than Rondo… and it’s not even close. The fact that the Knicks ALSO won in Minn is a testament to how good and tough they’re becoming.
But there is NO WAY a deal can be made for Lin now, and not just for basketball reasons, but more because his value to the marketing department is now beyond measure.
However, I would take him in a second for Rondo… in that alternate universe where such a trade might be possible.
Minnesota is not a good defensive team and Rubio is not a good defender...
he was covered by Fish and Blake a lot in the Lakers game also for the most part.

NYK can resign him for whatever he wants
They own his rights, regardless of the cap, same as the C’s did with PP n Allen.

I know everyone is going nuts over Lin, but we can we reserve some judgement til after Melo an Stat are back in the lineup.
Besides, he plays in D’Antoni’s system, which has a habit of creating anomalies. What would this kid be like he actually had to play defense?
