What's up with Phoenix? Is a trade brewing?

Went over to Yahoo sports to look at the box score for the Phoenix game to see what Nash did. Nash was DNP. Article stated:

"...who played without starters Steve Nash and Grant Hill.Nash and Hill sat out to rest and avoid risking injury, Phoenix coach Alvin Gentry said before the game."

Normally players are held out to avoid risking injury prior to being traded, correct? Hmm...

Those two guys would look great in Green

I think more or less though, it could just be precautionary. Then again, it doesn’t make much sense unless they both were severely worn down, as they currently sit in 13th place in the Western Conference.

they are in the middle of a back-to-back-to-back, maybe just getting some rest

we’ll know tomorrow night and see if they play again

Yup similar to what they did with shaq

Only this time it’s because of the ridiculous lockout schedule. I wonder if they will sit out hill and nash in back to backs at all.

Most likely resting them in a back to back- something we should do in games like tonight and tomorrow.

Play the starters limited minutes tonight, and give the youngsters time to get moving and to show what they can do. Against weaker teams, this is the time to let them run.

I thought Hill can only be traded after March 1st?

But I agree, this is very interesting. I mean, the Hornets tried to do the same thing with Kaman. Interesting.

Hill is 39 and Nash is 38

See my point?

I don't follow rules, I let the rules follow me.
