The rosters for the All-Star reserves were named today. The Celts will only be sending one representative to Orlando for this year's game.
Rivers: Pierce named All-Star reserve
Celtics coach Doc Rivers said before Thursday's game with the Los Angeles Lakers that Paul Pierce has been voted an All-Star reserve. . . .
For Pierce, it would be his 10th All-Star nod.
KG missed out for the first time in 15 years. Ray and Rondo were also passed over. Looking at the team's record and the individual statistics, that's probably a fair result. I'm sure many fans will miss seeing the rest of the guys play, but they'll be getting some rest and at least we'll have Pierce to cheer on.
