Would You Trade For Blatche If It Meant Getting McGee?

The fire-sale is on in Washington.

Andray Blatche is a knucklehead with a capital K. For every once of talent that he has, he has a few cups of stupid to go with it. He also has 3 years and over $23M left on his contract. I wouldn't touch him with a 6 foot pole.

On the other hand, if he came along with a 7 footer (player, not pole) then I'd have to think about it. McGee isn't exactly a rocket scientist either, but I wonder how much of his ...umm, lets call it lack of focus, is because he's on a lottery squad and how much of it is his true nature.

If the Wizards are desperate to unload Blatche and are worried about re-signing McGee (he's a restricted free agent this summer and will certainly be overpaid by someone because he's a 7 footer with talent) then they might consider packaging them to the Celtics for expiring contracts. Jermaine O'Neal and Chris Wilcox works. They might have to throw in a first round pick as well. Even that might not be enough for the Wizards who might be able to get a lottery pick out of another team for that pair. Still, I wouldn't be surprised if Danny made a few phone calls.
