Having advocated for "trade Rondo" in all my previous posts as the means to best improve our team since he's the player with the most value & hence, we can get a very good return, I now have a change of heart as Rondo is INDUBITABLY in the top 5 NBA players not in terms of stats but in terms of what he does for his team. I mean, so many other players (e.g. Melo, Blake G., Deron, & etc.) may be seen by hoops fans as "way better" than Rondo, but that's only in terms of individual talent. But when it comes to a player's overall value to the team & what he brings to the table in order to make that team click & be in the hunt for the championships year after year, then Rondo's INDUBITABLY in the top 5 (in the ranks of Kobe, Wade/LBJ, D.Rose, Durant) even way more valuable than guys like Melo, Blake, Deron,& etc. And so, we have to keep Rondo & rebuild around him. He may not be a superstar like Melo, Blake, Deron & etc. but Rondo's game makes our team click & be a perenial contender. (Article continued down below.)
