A couple of Midwestern beat writers (Sam Amico for the Cavs, Vincent Goodwill for the Pistons) have linked the Celtics to J.J. Hickson:

Hickson has sat out the first half against the Pistons, so maybe this has some legs. Hickson has been pretty terrible this year, but he's still only 23 years old, and he averaged 13.8 points and 8.7 rebounds last year. His shooting percentage has been in free fall the last couple of years, but maybe playing next to Rondo would create better looks for him. He's a pretty good athlete, and as noted, he's been productive in the past. Hickson is a restricted free agent at the end of this season.

Danny has had a good working relationship with the Kings front office in the past, completing deadline deals involving the salaries of Sam Cassell and Patrick O'Bryant in 2009 and Marquis Daniels last season.
