Here's a minor trade that could help us fill our gaping center hole and bench scoring problem. We send Jermaine O'Neal's expiring contract, along with Marquis Daniels and Keyon Dooling to Houston for Terrence Williams and Hasheem Thabeet. In my mind, Williams has potential to become a Joe Johnson-like superstar. (Okay, maybe over-exaggerated just a little.) He can't seem to find playing time with the Rockets. TW can score in bunches and that's what our bench needs. As for Thabeet, he's a defensive minded 7 footer. He's extremely raw and almost always seems to look confused on the court. Maybe with the presence of KG he could turn into a decent role player. Not sure if O'Neal, Daniels and Dooling is enough for Houston though. They would get a mediocre defender in Quis to help guard the perimeter against the Kobe's, Ginobli's of the West. Every player involved in this trade has their contract expiring so I guess if it didn't work out for either team, they could just let the players walk. O'Neal's out with another injury, Daniels seems like he lost his role, and Dooling is.. well Dooling, so what do we have to lose? What do you guys think? Just an idea here..
