"What happened to the Rondo for Gasol trade idea?"

Now that D12 is off the table for awhile, all NBA teams especially LA & Boston (to lesser degrees) can take D12 out of their plan & think of other ways to improve their team now. Rondo slacks off versus bad teams (e.g. against the Warriors last nite) but he's really SUPERB when it counts the most. But having Gasol with our Big 3 is very enticing, it instantly makes both Miami & Chicago quite beatable for us! And contrary to popular belief, Gasol can play D (block shots & rebound) when it counts the most. Remember how it pains us to see him make crucial defensive moves that leads to LA wins in the playoffs versus us or other Western conference team (e.g. OKC) that we cheer to beat LA since he arrived there 4 years ago? Like Rondo, Gasol slacks off versus bad to mediocre teams but gets really good where it counts the most. A change in scenery will most likely get that spark in him going again.
