I'm trying to figure out a way we could trade Rondo for Stephen Curry in a three way trade but can't seem to get it done.
What I would like to see is a future (longer-term) lineup of
Bradley, Steph Curry, Jeff Green, JJJ, Bass
I don't mind moving KG or Ray Allen but Pierce has got to stay. Sends a wrong message to any free agents thinking about signing with Boston and puts us in a tougher position than we already are.
That won't win us a championship but it is a start in the right direction post-big three era. Young team with great shooters at all position. No true center, but what else is new? Bradley handling the ball for the most part and Curry playing the Ray Allen role.
First, what are your thoughts? And second, how could you make this happen considering Golden State won't do Rondo for Curry straight up? What other players/teams might be able to make this happen? My initial thought was help Orlando keep Dwight, or help them trade him. Either way, they are more likely trade partners than other teams.
Ideas?
