A closer look at the remaining schedule greatly favors Philadelphia despite 5 home and 11 remaining games. The combined winning percentage of Philadelphia s remaining games is 45.4 %. They have Toronto twice and New Jersey three times. New York has 6 H and 9 A with an oppostion WP of 52.3%. Boston has 7 H and 9 A but the opponents WP is 55.9%!! Philly has been really consistent about beating the lesser teams and I do not see that changing. It absolutely stinks that the unbalanced schedule has greatly favored the sixes but what stinks worse was our awful January and February where we had two five game losing streaks and lost to teams like Detriot, Cleveland, and Toronto. That could very well cost us the Atlantic Division and any realistic hope of getting to the Second round of the playoffs. Let us hope and pray our main guys stay healthy so we can finish the season on high note and help out the off season veteran FA recruiting.
