If we get Josh Smith we will definitely get Dwight....

If the Celtics acquire Josh Smith from the Atlanta, it will double our chances of him putting on Celtic green. Josh and Rondo have been great friends since high school and currently Smith and Howard are great friends. I know that if we get Smith it will eat out 13 m from the cap but how else are we going to use it. If the Celtics can sign Ray and KG to a veterans minimum, we will have enough cap space for 2 maximum contracts. We would use the other half of that to sign Dwight. Doc would love that because both are elite defenders and explosive scorers. But I don't think we should trade any one from the big 4, I would trade Bass and Keyon and possibly a 1st or 2nd round pick if Atlanta accepts. Even though its Smith's last year on his contract, I think the Celtics could resign him to a 5 year deal and they could get Dwight for a good 6 years. In those 5-6 years, no other team could even compete with the Celtics, if they are a potential threat this year in the playoffs, imagine what they would be with Josh Smith and Dwight Howard. The only issue that could prevent Dwight from coming to Boston is that Dwight wants to play with Deron, but if he lets that issue pass, the Celtics will be the most unstoppable team in the NBA. Tell me what you think about this, and potential trades for Smith or even Dwight.

Be respectful and keep it clean. Thanks.
