What the Celtics will need for a playoff run is Posey, Poe, Big baby (playing well)...they need a bench. Every series I can remember (going back to the 60's) bench players (1 or 2?) rise up and steal at least one game.

Up until the last month or so, the Celtic's bench has been ineffective. Seriously, the shooting had been atrocious, I watched all the games. Now what do we have? Dooling has been shooting well and even if he is the ONLY one to heat up, it might be enough.

A look at Pietrus' and Dooling's stats up until three weeks ago is, well, awful. Someone needs to come off the bench and score, not just give up leads and put the starters back out.

Now we have Kevin Garnett playing out of his mind while ringing up every center he plays against. This is giving the Celtics a different front. Bradley is giving Boston a different back court and all of it seems to be working.

Who can step up and carry the team while the starters rest? This will decide whether the Celtics can make it to the finals.
