Kevin Garnett has been named the Eastern Conf Player of the Week! KG averaged 20.0 PPG, 10.8 RPG, 2.5 APG, 1.3 SPG, 1.0 BPG as C's went 4-1.

Even though KG prefers to play power forward, his move to center is paying dividends for the Celtics and today, he was named Eastern Conference Player Of The Week. Even after sitting out last night's game in Charlotte, Garnett posted some gaudy numbers:
- April 10 @ Miami: Tallied 24 points, nine rebounds, two assists and two blocks in a 115-107 win over the Heat.
- April 11 vs. Atlanta: Posted 22 points, 12 rebounds, two assists and three steals in a 88-86 win over the Hawks.
- April 14 @ New Jersey: Tallied 21 points, 12 rebounds and three assists during a 94-82 win over the Nets.
KG joins the Captain as winners of the award in April and with all three games this week on national television, I'm betting Rondo closes out the trifecta. Nice to see the team peaking at the right time.
