Amazing how winning 7 games out of 8 and demolishing the Heat will raise the world's perception of you.
Paul Pierce was just named Eastern Conference Player of the Week.

Paul Pierce was named the Eastern Conference's player of the week after averaging 25.0 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 2.5 assists in four games. The points were 6 above his season average, a sign that Pierce -- in addition to Rajon Rondo, Kevin Garnett, and Avery Bradley -- is turning it on at the right time.

And the Celtics are now number 7 in ESPN's power rankings.

Too good since the break -- and too dominant in the first of three remaining meetings with Miami -- to keep the Celts out of the top 10 any longer. Don't care how hard their schedule looks from here. Is there a team outside of the East's top two that you believe in more at playoff time than Doc's old-timers and Rondo?
Feel the love.
