While we're all looking forward to the playoffs, it's not to early to consider the draft. The Celtics got a bit of good news today, as they won a coin flip (via the Clippers) for the 22nd pick in the draft. That leaves the Celtics with the 21st and 22nd picks in the upcoming draft. Additionally, they'll pick 51st in the second round. In a bit of disappointing news, the Celtics won't be receiving the conditional second rounder from the Bucks as part of the Keyon Dooling trade, as Milwaukee's pick fell outside of the bottom 45.
It's way too early to project who will be there at slots 21 and 22, but right now, Draft Express has us landing Tony Wroten and Moe Harkless, while NBADraft.net has Harkless and Royce White occupying the 21st and 22nd picks in their mock draft.
The last player the Celtics selected at pick #21? Rajon Rondo. Pick #22? Reggie Lewis.
