#CelticsTalk: #Celtics Paul Pierce has a sprained MCL, but he participated in shoot-around and is expected to play tonight vs #Hawks.

#Celtics make it VERY clear no torn cartilage, no bone spurs for Pierce. He was at shoot around this am. #NBA

It was more comforting when they called it a sprained knee. Adding the letters MCL makes it sound more medical which in turn makes it sound a lot scarier. He participated at shootaround this morning and looks like a go. It can not be overstated how important winning Game 6 is. Closing out the series tonight could give the Celtics four days rest (if Chicago can win in Philly and force a Game 7). I can't help but blame this all on Tebow(ing).
In other injury news, the official word is that Avery Bradley has a "sore rotator cuff," but is also expected to play and start tonight.
