A couple minutes left in the 3rd quarter and the Celts just played terrific D for 24 seconds to force a horrible, long-distance shot by James, and what, what was that... ANOTHER FOUL!!! ANOTHER HORRIBLE FOUL CALL AGAINST THE CELTICS!!! Directly after James body-contacted Rondo to floor at the other end.
I'm done watching this game. It's obvious the Heat aren't losing Game 1 in Miami, not if Dan Crawford, Ed Malloy, and Jason Phillips have anything to say about it.
I really wish Doc would come out after the game and say that after 25 years of being associated with the NBA, he's finally seen the worst officiated game ever, where it was so blatantly obvious that the refs were there for one team only. It's not even the 4th quarter yet, and the Celts have FOUR TECHNICAL FOULS. 4. In less than 36 minutes of game time. We should all join in to help pay Rivers' fine for being honest about this refereeing.
Every drive to the basket by the Celts results in a lot of obvious body contact and Celtics players on the floor. NO CALL. Every jump shot by the Heat results in a foul call and two shots at the line.
Let's not forget this is almost the exact same ref crew from last year's Game 1 Celts v Heat, where Pierce was ejected on two technicals in under one minute.
I hope a Celts fan slashes the refs' car tires and they have to take public transportation back to the hotel tonight. A nice, late-night bus ride on the Miami public transportation network is what these refs need.
Be respectful and keep it clean. Thanks.
