It's becoming a far too familiar pattern these days. Ray feels great before practice or shootaround then his ankles swell and lock up and he gets frustrated. Today's news felt a little more optimistic but we'll see where he's at in two hours.
Allen optimistic before Thursday's practice
"The last couple of days, I've been in a really good place, so I'm optimistic," said Allen. "If I'm sitting here [Friday] feeling good, that's a different story. I am optimistic about practicing today so that's definitely a great step for me moving forward."
UPDATE:
Ray Allen made it through practice. ... It now becomes a morning after question.
