As we suffer through the unceremonious Celebration of the heat championship * which leaves a bitter taste with all Celtics fans, Danny has to be driving the retooling options at warp speed as we cannot have a vision of this again next year. Chicago will be significantly weaker so to Philly, Knicks are gonna be the Knicks, leaving Indiana and Miami as our strongest competitors in the east. With our pending cap space and draft picks this opens up a number of options for Danny. However, there's a few thoughts I have that will shape the following scenarios: Ray coming back will never be an option; Rondo can only be traded if Williams is a definite replacement; We cannot have Bass come back as our starting PF; We need more athleticism, bench scoring, REBOUNDING and no more BBs(6' 6" PF).

Even though we are retooling we must still have both eyes on the future.
