LOS ANGELES, CA - JUNE 03: Former Lakers player and Genral Manager Jerry West (L) and Team President Danny Ainge of the Boston Celtics pose for a photo as the Celtics get set to play the Los Angeles Lakers in Game One of the 2010 NBA Finals at Staples Center on June 3, 2010 in Los Angeles, California. Boston is aggressively working to move up into the late lottery, if not higher, league sources tell Y!. Celtics own No. 21 and 22 picks.

Woj is usually on top of everything, so this is probably legit. We shouldn't be too surprised that Danny is looking to trade up. He's been on record saying that there may not be a lot "trancendent players" in this draft, but definitely several very good "rotation" guys. Could this be a signal that Garnett has already given him an answer before Saturday? Is Danny looking for a potential superstar or showing KG (and Ray to some extent) that he's "aggressively" starting to stock the shelves for another run? Doc's going to be in Newark as a dad and not necessarily as the Celtics' head coach, but could those roles cross tonight? Austin Rivers is slated in most mock drafts right in the middle of the lottery...
It's eight hours until the draft. Danny doin' work.
