Damn! KG's not quitting (like I hoped he would)

Stay connected for news and updates

On a totally selfish level, I was hoping KG would retire so I could FINALLY walk away from the NBA and its stupid/blind/corrupt (take your pick), disgusting refs. But noooooo.... he has to come back, and for THREE YEARS no less!! Damn.

It was always about KG for me. If PP had retired (which he won't now, for sure), it wouldn't have mattered much to me. If Ray moves on to another team, I'll wish him well and not miss him (much). Same goes for everyone else, except KG.

I suppose the Melo pick was the final dye the Cs cast that made KG's return an imperative rather than "wouldn't-it-be-nice". Somebody's gotta bring JJJ and Melo along, and clearly there's no one better than KG for that job.... to say nothing of the Ticket's effect on the other noobs and his more direct contributions, of course.

Btw... There's an enormous amount of potential in this team's young guns now (gotta include Bradley and Sully in that conversation, 'natch), possibly a whole new generation of greatness in the making (fingers crossed).

Ok, I admit I'm very happy KG's coming back. But just for the cosmic record of it all, I wanna put it out there that I was hoping that not only would KG retire, but that -- because he will likely have nothing to do with the NBA after he does retire (like announcing, analyzing, coaching, whatever) -- he would then write a book about all the dirt he's accumulated on the NBA, Stern, the refs, the whole stinking mess. I woulda loved that. Guess it was always just a pipe dream.

Welcome back, KG. Luvya.

Be respectful and keep it clean. Thanks.
