I got thinking about ALL the techs that have been handed out to Boston over the course of this year's playoffs, and I don't like where my mind has gone.

In the playoffs, 7 techs earns an automatic 1-game suspension.

KG has 3 techs already.

Rondo has 4 techs already.

That may not seem like a lot, considering the Celts are already halfway to Banner 18...

...but if Boston is going to win this ECF series, it's probably going to take 7 games, and a Finals series will probably take this team 6 or 7 games, as well. That's a lot of chippy basketball. That doesn't leave either player much room to express themselves on the court.

This team cannot survive a 1-game suspension to either of its top two players (yep, right now KG and Rondo are the Celtics' top two players).

I hope Doc is aware of this.
