Hey guys (and gals!),

For months, my bachelor "getaway" (for lack of calling it a "party") has been scheduled for this coming Saturday in Boston. Right now, all my buddies and I live in the tri-state area, but I'm from New England and bleed Boston sports! The 8 of us are going to see the Sox play the Nats on Saturday afternoon - Dice-K's return!!! - and now it looks like we'll be watching Game 7 from Boston.

Thing is... I don't really know where to go to watch it. I actually desperately wished the Celts would handle business tonight at home so I wouldn't have anxiety for the next two days. I've actually been having trouble sleeping. Celtics playoffs and an upcoming wedding: what a combination! But, alas, here we are... looking for a place to watch Game 7.

The few places I've hung out in Boston in the past ten years have been the bars around Fenway and TD, like Durty Nellys and the such; the divier and chiller the pub, the better. Most don't even have tvs, really, just fresh Smithwicks and good music. This weekend we're staying right off the Common, and I don't know that area well.

Can you guys (and gals!) throw out some pubs that my buds and I can watch the game at? Any good places around the Common? Anything not overrated and, for lack of a better term, d**chey (apologies if that's too dirty for this site).

Any ideas from you guys (and gals!) would be immensely helpful. Thanks.
