Appreciation for this year's Boston Celtics

As we approach Game 7 of the Eastern Conference FInals, I just wanted to commend this year's team for a truly outstanding effort. They are banged-up, without much rest, and most importantly, written-off by many analysts. This is exactly the type of situation the Celtics want to be in.

For two players to have heart conditions(Jeff Green and Chris Wilcox), one to have wrist-surgery(Jermaine O'Neal), one to play through excruciating foot-pain(Greg Stiemsma), one to play through shoulder problems before going in for surgery(Avery Bradley), one to play through bone spurs(Ray Allen), one to play through a sprained knee(Paul Pierce), one to play through talk of being-too-old(Kevin Garnett), and one to play through the pressures of being the team's new best player(Rajon Rondo), this team has over-achieved, big time.

Out of all five years of the Big 3-era, this team is my favorite. Their grit, heart, and will to win is what makes them so likable.

It is also what makes them OKC's next opponent.

I AM A CELTIC. Are you?

Be respectful and keep it clean. Thanks.
