With Elton Brand to be amnestied, Boston will be a very tough sell since he & KG have very bad blood, he can simply go to Miami since he also wants to win bad & that he will be a starter there (with Bosh the other big man), playing lots of minutes since Haslem & Joel Anthony will simply be back-ups. But if we appear to be legit in dethroning Miami next year which this current Boston team surely is far-away from doing so given our current line-up, then maybe we can convince Brand to join us for a solid championship run instead of him going somewhere else. Brand's availability will allow us to gut our team (trade away some of our young guys) in order to land D12 especially now that Cleveland has pulled-out greatly reducing the Nets chance to get D12 while Bynum doesn't want to sign an extension with Orlando also greatly reducing LA's chance of getting D12. With both teams out, then we really can beat the other teams like Houston, Mavs, & etc. with our assets which are far more superior than theirs. Here's a scenario (article continued below):
