Prodigal son, having an inevitable break-out season, snubbed...

Gerald Green, the former misguided, high-leaping knuckle head Celtic, is now out of reach after the July Free Agency moratorium after signing with an upcoming rival team - the Pacers. In his defense, he was going to be the likely STARTING SG/SF combo of the Brooklyn Nets this season if Joe Johnson wasn't acquired. He had an impressively improved performance last season with 14PPG, 4RPG at just 16MPG!!!...He has become from a disappointment to a reliable team player. Isn't that enough as a second chance and let the prodigal son come back? Especially they are in need of a veteran SG/SF combo with Avery probably out 'til January 2013?
