This is just my opinion so please no bad comments.
So after we sign KG, Bass, Terry, and Green our roster would be like:
Rajon Rondo (PG) Avery Bradley (SG) Paul Pierce (SF) Kevin Garnett (PF) Brandon Bass (PF) Jeff Green (SF) Jason Terry (PG) Jared Sullinger (PF) Fab Melo (C) E'Twaun Moore (PG) Jajuan Johnson (PF) Sean Williams (C) Kris Joseph (SF)
Pretty Decent right well so far there's rumors going on that Courtney Lee wanted to go to the Celtics since Doc Rivers wanted to recruited him for along time now. But our position at the PG and the SG are already filled out so what's the use of Lee? If we can just get Pietrus as a strong defender on the bench.
But our main problem is at the C spot so why aren't we paying close attention to the FA where we can get a decent Center until Melo becomes an all-star (joke) But seriously this kid can block shots, defend the paint, get rebounds, play nice defense, legit 7-footer, can run on a fastbreak, and can take a charge and plus he's a rookie what do you expect a rookie can do already that's why he's learning and adapting his game to a higher level. So isn't that what were looking for as a Center for now until we can finally get a Veteran who knows how to play the Center spot very well so let's concentrate on that for now instead of acquiring Lee. I mean it would be nice to have Lee but i'll rather pass for now.
Since bradley is out until December I'm pretty sure Doc gonna play Jeff Green at the SF spot since everyone kept on saying that he has the starters money well let's say if he did play as a starter until bradley comes back the rotation would be.
Starters: Bench:
PG: Rondo PG: Terry
SG: Pierce SG: (Maybe) Pietrus (if DA sign him)
SF: Green SF: Joseph
PF: Bass PF: Sullinger
C: KG C: Melo
Pretty good to me but the one thing that bothers me the most is that KG is at the Center spot and I know that the fact that Doc doesn't play rookies a lot we won't be seeing Melo as a starter unless Doc have to take some risk before Playoffs starts. Say we did have Melo as a starter for now and KG back at the PF spot so that leaves bass and sullinger fighting for the PF spot but what if Sullinger moves at the C spot would that make both Bass and Sullinger down the paint and the mid-range game. Think about it if Bass learns how to get under and fight for the rebounds both sullinger and bass would be dangerous down below and plus they have a nice smooth mid-range jumper. If only sullinger grew at least to 6'11 we would have a complete roster don't you think?
But If I was a GM for one day and this was my roster for now I would literally call every single GM and tell them if anyone wants a S&T bass, jajuan johnson and a 1st round pick for a center don't care if he's slow, not very athletic, not a great scorer, barely gets injured, and has a bad morale character...... hmmmm...... i'll still take him. You know why it's because I would really help KG getting more rest and not damaging KG body when he's up against a more stronger Center player than him. I would seriously want KG rested and healthy than getting beat up and ran out of gas by the time playoff comes.
But my question is who do you think out there on the NBA team would literally take a S&T bass, JJJ and the 1st round pick for a Center because so far I have no one on my radar since my mind is also with everyone else which is get OJ Mayo or Courtney Lee to be honest with you but there is one player that I have in mind I was thinking of Aaron Gray for some reason I mean he did provide defense when he was at NO maybe if we pick him up he would be alright for now but I wanna hear your opinion C's fan let's hear what you have in mind.
After bradley comes back that's where everything gets all confusing. Say Kris Joseph makes 10 ppg 5 reb and 3 ast off the bench would you take out his minutes away?? I mean we have Jeff Green and Paul Pierce already so what's the use of him right?? But say we took away Pietrus minutes away but he's finally making those 3's and he's really consistence for now would you take his minutes away also?? No right you just want to keep on moving forward until playoffs come.
Imma suggest that if bradley comes back on December I would make him to be our 7th man but then again I would rather see him with Rondo running on the fastbreak, bradley cutting, and make rondo happy but i'll let you C's fan to decide which one is better.
Bradley as a Starter
Starters: Bench:
PG: Rondo PG: Terry
SG: Bradley SG: (Maybe) Pietrus (if DA sign him)
SF: Pierce SF: Green
PF: Bass PF: Sullinger
C: KG C: Melo
Bradley as a 7th Man
Starters: Bench:
PG: Rondo PG: Terry
SG: Pierce SG: Bradley
SF: Green SF: (Maybe) Pietrus (if DA sign him)
PF: Bass PF: Sullinger
C: KG C: Melo
This is all just a gamble for this roster in my thoughts and opinion but whatever Doc plan for this rotation I salute him with luck and pride let's go get banner #18 and prove Ray Ray that this roster have the chemistry of the C's pride and glory without him!!
