Well, this seemed like just a matter of time. The Stiemboat is signing with the T-Wolves. Kahn finally got his man.

The Timberwolves pursued Stiemsma hard from start of free agency and the Wisconsin native heads closer to home after one season in Boston.

Rumor has it that the deal is for more than the $1.96 bi-annual exception, meaning there is no way for the Celtics to match this offer, despite Stiemer being a restricted free agent. We'll keep you updated as more details become available, but there's no doubt that this is goodbye.
