Finals or Bust?

With the recent acquisition of Courtney Lee, the Celtics now have the best roster they've ever had during the Kevin Garnett era; No offense to Ray Allen. At any rate, here’s how the roster shapes up at this present moment:

PG: Rajon Rondo

SG: Courtney Lee

SF: Paul Pierce

PF: Brandon Bass

C: Kevin Garnett

Back-ups

PG: Jason Terry

SG: Avery Bradley (Will still come off the bench even after he comes back from shoulder surgery) / Jamar Smith

SF: Jeff Green / Kris Joseph

PF: Jared Sullinger / Chris Wilcox

C: Greg Steimsma / Fab Melo

With the Magic, Pacers, Knicks, Hawks doing very little to improve their respective rosters, and the Bulls not expecting to compete next season with D. Rose being to possibly be sidelined until December, let's take a look at C's chief Rival:

Miami Heat

PG: Mario Chalmers

SG: Dwayne Wade

SF: LeBron James

PF: Chris Bosh

C: Joel Anthony

Back-ups

PG: Norris Cole

SG: Ray Allen AkA Benedict Allen or Ray of Darkness (Take your pick) / Mike Miller

SF: Shane Battier / James Jones

PF: Rashard Lewis / Udonis Haslem

C: Dexter Pittman / Justin Hamilton

Now, I’m not going to break this thing down, player-by-player, but looking at our line-up and Miami's line-up, which team is in a better position to reach the 2013 NBA Finals at this time? I don't know what moves are left for either team to make at this point. Barring something miraculous, these are the respective rosters that each team will carry into the 2012-13 NBA season, folks. Celtics fans, are you confident that your team has enough? And if by chance we do reach the Finals, we could be looking at a Lakers' teams, which might feature Kobe, Howard and Nash; but that's a story for another day. Your thoughts!

Be respectful and keep it clean. Thanks.
