The signing of Jason Terry may not have left a lot of people scratching their heads, but it left some including me. Terry's age was the reason for confusion for C's fans; he's thirty-four, that's just two years younger than Ray Allen. Fans may think what's the point of getting a shooting-guard similar in age to the oldest guy on the team (Allen is tied with KG for oldest guy on the team). There are theories for the signing, the simplest one being is "JET" just replaces Ray. Others think Jason Terry will be the sixth man in Boston, and Ray Allen will resign to be the starter at SG. Another theory Jason Terry plays sixth man, and Avery Bradley. There are even people who think Terry plays sixth man, and the C's sign OJ Mayo. I like this theory the best, though it's probably the least likely because of what Boston gave Terry and what Mayo wants. Danny Ainge and Doc said they want Jeff Green resigned too so that takes more cap, but then again they said that about Ray too.
