The 6'11'', 295-pound, 27-year-old Al Jefferson, who averaged 19.2 points per game, 9.6 rebounds per game and 1.7 blocks per outing last season would be a great addition to this Boston Celtics team that is already vastly improved from last year, now how do the Boston Celtics dream of acquiring the All-Star forward? Well now with our backcourt looking heavily filled with Rajon Rondo, Avery Bradley, Jason Terry, and Most Likely resigned Ray Allen. We are a team that is built to win now and a major reason Ray Allen is still contemplating not coming back to the team he loves is because he wants to Start, so even if this sets back out rebuilding plan a year or two why not try this trade?

Boston Receives- Al Jefferson, Future Protected 1st Round Pick

Why it works for Utah- Utah's frontcourt has plenty of depth even including this trade, They still have Enes Kanter, Derrick Favors, Paul Millsap and They will be receiving Brandon Bass & Greg Steisma; That is still one of the NBA's most deep and talented front courts while along with this trade they get younger and get an up and coming talented player in Avery Bradley who will be making one of their weak spots a strength.

Why it works for Boston- Essentially if Boston were to do this trade they would be receiving an All Star Center, so they will be turning their weakest spot on their roster to a strength. This will make their Rebounding and Defense a force. While this does set their future back a bit with losing AB, EM, BB & GS, they will be getting a All Star just about to be entering his prime and a future 1st rounder to help with the rebuilding plan in a year or two. The loss of Avery hurts but it will hurt a lot less if JET & Ray can completely hold down the SG spot by Ray playing 25 mpg and Terry playing 23 MPG at SG & 8 MPG at PG. This trade will also entice Ray to return because he will reclaim his starting job once again
