Personally, for this upcoming year I'll be interested to see how the Timberwolves do. I want to see if Brandon Roy can play anywhere near the All-Star level he's accustomed to, also I love seeing creative, pass-first point guards (of which Rondo is the best of course!) and Ricky Rubio fits that mould.
Out of top teams I have the most respect for the San Antonio Spurs and the way they go about things - they're the very opposite of teams like the Lakers and Heat, and I hope they're the ones that come out of the West this year. A Celtics-Spurs NBA finals would be great to watch, no? Also Manu Ginobili is probably my favourite non-Celtic player.
Staying in the West, I also like the Denver Nuggets - I think they're going to be the most entertaining team to watch this coming year. Scarily athletic and they have a number of guys I like to root for - Andre Miller, Ty Lawson, Kenneth Faried, and it'll be great to watch Iguodala shut down someone other than Pierce for a change!
As for the East, the Magic deserve a break after the Dwightmare - and E'Twaun Moore deserves some playing time. Hopefully they can surprise a few people and not be as bad as everyone expects!
What about the rest of you?
