I love this team's resilience the last two weeks. I think they have shown the heart of a champion. However, I think they are missing the intimidation that brought us our last title, which I feel is a key ingredient. We need to give a hard foul that can punish driving guards looking to make high percentage shots in the lane (LeBron and Wade) You can not give them uncontested layups and they need to earn it at the stripe.
I think if we want to pick up another big like Gortat or Perk we have to accept that although we are okay with trading Bass, Sullinger has higher trade value. The other chip we have is Lee. Many have praised Lee for his defense but come playoff time, Bradley is going to play 75% of those minutes with the rest going to the Jet. Terry is here to make big shots in the playoffs, period.
Miami is not intimidated by us. This was obvious when LeBron yelled in KG's face in the ECF last year. We need to put some intimidation back into the lineup, and if it takes trading Sullinger or Lee, or both to do it, sign me up.
