What to do.. What to do..?

I think this is the second or third time I've seen the bench do their part this year and actually saw the starters not do theirs. Its very strange to see this happening, especially with Paul Pierce. I've never seen Paul Pierce off his game this much. It almost seems like the starting lineup isn't ready to make a run with those current players. Plus I highly doubt you can move any players that come off the bench, seeing as none of them know what consistency means.

Let me get this out of the way and say the Celtics are not going to trade Paul Pierce. These ridiculous trade rumors are just nonsense. He is literally the heart of the Celtics organization. By trading him, you would be saying "its time to start rebuilding" or "stick a fork in us, we're done". That's not going to happen. So with that being said, what's left? Rondo is the future of the organization, along with Avery Bradley. People have been talking about Brandon Bass but he hasn't really been consistent as of lately. And without that, you cannot just trade him because he's not doing his part in Boston. It doesn't work that way.

We all know Danny Ainge will be bringing in a Big man before Feb 21st, but we all wonder if there is anyone else. Even with new additions to the team, these players need to get their head out of their butts and start playing ball. My opinion, based on what I keep seeing game in and game out. Their way of practicing and working on their skills, they're not training hard enough. I don't want to bring up this name but its the only way you can relate to what I'm saying. Ray Allen. This man would practice night in and night out, doing twice as much work as any other player on the team and made sure he was so consistent with his shooting. So when the game begins, he was doing what he trained to do the entire 48 minutes.

I would hate to think these bench players are afraid of over working themselves so they can be remain in the league and extra year or two. I just hope they know what's at stake. Sadly, their isn't much room left for mistake. We're half way through the season, and as KG would say. "This is where the plastic people melt".

Next up is Ray Allen and the Miami Heat. This is probably the biggest game for the Boston's current Big3. All 10-11 players have to be P-E-R-F-E-C-T come Sunday. That's not including all the emotions Celtics Nation will bring when Ray Allen is announced at the Garden.

Do you see any trades happening before Feb 21st? What Free Agent will the Celtics pick up? How will the fans react to Ray Allen?

Be respectful and keep it clean. Thanks.
