I don't know how this can be tough to choose.
I understand, he left and joined the enemy. He chose the road, "If you can't beat them, join them". Trust me, every time this topic comes up, it leaves a bitter taste in my mouth. But there's one thing we need to know. He isn't a starter, he comes off the bench. In other words, we get to have our cake and eat it. The Celtics will probably play the tribute video before the game actually starts. Which to me, is the best thing for the team and the fans. We can give him our final goodbye cheer, then once he comes in off the bench, boo him. Boo him any time he gets possession or even touches the ball. Boo him until the game ends.
Whether or not people realize it, he was a major contributor to winning the Title in 08'. For me, if I was at the game, I would give him that standing ovation to let him see what Celtics Nation is all about. Then halfway through the 1st quarter, he's going to come in. That's when you let it out and show him how you really feel. Boo him until you lose your voice. Even Doc Rivers will agree.
Hopefully Celtics Nation will do the right thing Sunday 1:00 P.M.
